"No valid observations in equation" error.. Help!

Hi,

I am rather new at eviews and do apologise if my question seems too trivial.

I am trying to run an OLS however for some reason I keep getting this error. "No valid observations in equation".

Could someone tell me what could possibly be the reason why the system is coming up with this? I check my data and it all seems good.

If I just list the variables out in "Estimate Equation", d1lnspot d2lnspot d3lnspot d4lnspot d5lnspot d1lnfut d2lnfut d3lnfut d4lnfut d5lnfut kt kt1 kt2 kt3 kt4 Zt zt1 zt2 zt3 zt4 bt0 alpha6. It works.

Appreciate any help you can give.

Many thanks.

I also went on to run SUR. I got the same error as well and sometimes I got a different error message which says "Near Singular Maxtrix".

I am a little puzzled as to what exactly is the true error behind this.

Appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks.
