Good day!
Hello, I am new here and I am just starting to use Eviews. I would just like to ask, how can I insert a pooled time series data in the spreadsheet? Afterwards if I import it in the workfile will it be usable? Thanks :)

I think you're going to have to more clearly define what it is that you're trying to do.

Hi!
I have a similar question on pooled time-series data. I have an Excel file with daily (5-days) data ranging from 01-02-2006 until 12-31-2010 for 29 cross sections, which is stacked. I'm able to import this into EViews7 as panel data, however I would like to import it as pooled data. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance.

Import it as panel first, then use the Proc->Reshape->Unstack procedure to unstack it into a pool.

Thanks, I was able to unstack it. But what's next? What do I need to do before I can run some actual regressions. Sorry, I'm totally clueless

You're set. The pool object should have been made automatically.
For details on how to use a pool object, the User Guide is probably the best place to start.

Yeah I've got the Guide, but it's not really helping much...

Ow found another topic on this forum, which elaborates quite a lot on pooled data
