I got a user ID and password of Datastream and input them in my Enterprise Edition Eviews.
But I got an error saying "invalid login provided" when importting data.

I called the Datastream's HelpDesk but they had no experience with using Datastream in Eviews.

Can someone help? Thanks

Having just a Datastream account is not enough. You will also need either a Datafeeds or Dataworks account. My understanding is these accounts have different username and password information. Are you entering your Datafeeds or Dataworks account information?
