I am a new user workign my way through EViews Illustrated Chapter 1. At the bottom of page 12 , it says “To add a regression line, select Regression line from the Fit lines dropdown menu.”
Any idea where the Fit lines dropdown menu is? I can’t see it in any of the open boxes and couldn’t find it using help either.

To answer my own question, you find it inside the View menu where you created the scatter plot, on the right hand side: View->Graph->Basic graph-> Scatter and, on the right hand side, Fit lines->Regression line.
