Dividing a sample

Dividing a sample

Hi everyone,

I'm quite new to Eviews, been using the program for a few days. My question is, can a run a regression using only a specified number of variables from a sample? For example, if I have output and profit for 145 variables and only want to run the regression for the 75 variables with lowest output, how can I do it?

Set the sample to be the observations you want to use, then run the regression.
