Band graph 2 shades?

Hello,

Had a quick question regarding band graphs. Is it at present possible to use a 2-color shading scheme for a band graph so that the shade is different depending on which series is higher at any point in time? If not, this would be extremely useful in future. In my case, the primary use of band graphs is to quickly visualize how many times and for how long at a time two series are flipping over (i.e. their difference alternates in sign).

The same concept would be great for area graphs too when the shaded area goes from positive to negative and back (e.g. a trade balance switching between trade surplus and trade deficit). The color scheme could be visually powerful.

Many thanks,
Tatha

In that case, pls keep the band graph in mind for this addition as well.... :)
