Graph of panel data estimated equation

Hi,

Having estimated a couple of functions with panel data - 11 cross sections, 15 time periods=165 observations - I would like to produce the graph for the estimated functions where the Y axis shows the value of the dependent variable and the X axis shows:
a) the values for the independent variable (when the estimated function has only 1 independent variable)
b) the values for the resulting sum of independent variables (when the estimated function has the form Y=c1+c2*X1+c3*X2

So far when I try to produce the graph I only manage to have the X axis displaying the number of observation (from 1 to 165...) and not the value of X.

Many thanks in advance for any explanation that can help me to solve this issue!!

Best,
MC

By the way, I am using eviews student version 6.

Forecast from your estimated equation...that will get you the fitted value for Y.

Then do a scatter plot of your X against Y.

Dear Glenn,

Thank you very much for the hint. It happens that I still can not manage to produce the graph. The problem
is the x axis, which continues to show the order (number) of the observation rather than the values of x. In addition, the values the x axis are not in crescent order which makes the graphic really strange. I attach the output of the forecast so you can better understand.
I would be extremely grateful if could help me.
Thanks
Miguel

You're simply showing the forecast graph (which obviously isn't what you want).

What you need to do is create a group containing your X variable and the TOTAL_COSTF series (in that order). Then open the group and display a scatterplot of the group.
