Default database for storing

Is there a way to set the default Eviews database for storing objects to, other than the most recently used database?
We have a database that we are constantly storing to. However, when we happen to open up another database then it becomes the default storage location.
And then the next time we need to store to our routine database, we often forget to correct the database path, thus storing data to the wrong location.

There isn't a way around this unfortunately (apart from, of course using the store command and always specifying which database to store to). Perhaps a better solution than having a "default storing database" is to not change the default database every time you open a database.

So are you saying there is a way to keep the default database (the most recently opened one) from changing when you manually open another database (i.e. "not change the default database every time you open a database")?
I don't see any option for this on the Open Database Specification dialog box. When I click on Browse Files and get the standard Windows Open dialog box, there is an option in the lower left hand corner to "Update Default Directory" but this is actually unchecked, yet the default database (directory) will still change next time I try to store a series.

No, I'm saying there isn't a way to do it, but there should be!
