Hello,
I just wonder is there any commend and other procedures available in Eviews 6 or 7 to compute the pvalue or standard errors for functions of estimated coefficients and series.
For example, I estimated a system of translog functions ( Eviews 6 user guide Ⅱ, page 324, Chapter 33), and then compute the elasticity of substitution by formula: C(1)*X1+C(2)*X2/X3, where C1) and C(2) are estimated coefficients and X1, X2, and X3 are known series. How can I directly obtain the pvalue and standard error of the elasticity in Eviews with two different coefficients in the formula? This procedure can be done in TSP by the commend “ANALYZ”. Since I am now transformed to Eeviews, I wonder is there any similar commend or process in Eviews?
Thanks.

Re: compute pvalue for functions of coefficients and series
There's nothing built in to do it.
