When I installed EViews 7.1 today there was no option during the installation for the Excel add-in. I installed all available components, but there is no Excel add-in. I also tried reinstalling with the same result Thanks for any help! Susan

Hi Susan:

The EViews Excel Add-In is a single file named "EViews Add In.xla". It is installed into the EViews7 subdirectory whenever you install EViews 7. If the setup program detects Microsoft Office, it also tries to copy this file to the Office Add In folder.

If you already had Office installed, just run Excel and go to the list of Add Ins. You should see the "EViews Add In" in the list. Check the checkbox next to it to activate it.

I d'ont currently have the Option Excel Add-in in the Excel 2010 and I'm using Eviews 7.

I've read in the threads that the Excel Add-in compatible with Office 2010 will be available with release of Eviews 8.

Can this be sent to me ? Secondly, shall I need to re-install Excel to have the option Eviews Add-in

You need EViews 8 to have the 2010 add-in.
