How easy is it to transition from Python to EViews?

I recently completed a MS in Quantitative Econ. During my studies I was trained well in Python for time-series analysis and forecasting.

Now I have a job in industry and am being asked to use my expertise to create similar forecasts but to do so within a EViews code-base.

I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out, but wondering if you have any tips or resources that might make the my transition as seamless as possible
