I am trying to download some time series from DatastreamEDX using EViews 13. The DatastreamEDX Picker works correctly, but if I click on a series to download it on EViews, the error message attached appears. "Fetch" function works properly.

Please report this error to Datastream, the developers of the DatastreamEDX.

I have already reported the problem to Datastream. According to the developers, the issue is linked with EViews, as their Navigator works as expected.

Do you have an older version of EViews where this query currently works? -- meaning is this error new with EViews 13 only? Or is it happening regardless of version?

The javascript error you reported seems to not like something that is happening inside of their "returnItemsToHost" function which I presume means they encountered an error while taking to EViews, but I don't think anything has changed between older versions of EViews and the current one when it comes to our EDX interface.

It is happening regardless of the version. The download had been working properly in EViews 13 until about a month ago, then this error appeared.

Hmm, that really makes it sound like it's a problem with the DatastreamEDX itself.

Please provide this info to them along with the specific item you're trying to fetch so they can reproduce the issue.
