Pin Flyover for graphs with multiple series plotted separately

For a graph that has multiple series with each series plotted separately, I am unable to do a “pin flyover”.
The function is not an available option when I right click over a data point on the graph. However, I did notice object->view options->Pin flyover but when I select this, either nothing happens or Eviews crashes.
