This has never happened to me before but I suddenly found some of the auto-updating series in my workfile not to be updating anymore. The auto-updating series remain unchanged even when values in the underlying series in the formula change. The only way to update them is to reformulate them, which is of course tedious and error-prone. Any idea what might be going on here?

Are they updating from an external source, are they formulas referring to series within the same Workfile page?

You can also right-click the workfile window (in the white client area) and select "Manage Links & Formulae..." to see if there's any issue with the links.

I checked the Manage Links and Formulae tab, as you suggested, and I found numerous, greyed out sources of workfiles of my collaborators as well a source called 'annual', type 'page' that contains all auto-updating series, which a Last Refreshed time of a few minutes ago. Nevertheless, the values are not correct.

Could you provide the workfile?
