We are experiencing an installation error when trying to install Eviews12 on a virtual machine. This was not the case for the previous version of Eviews11. Here is the exact error message: “1152 error extracting to the temporary location”. Any ideas?

Currently running EViews 11 Enterprise Edition - Jun 9 2021 build

Trying to run installer program EViews12Installer(64-bit).exe

This has been resolved. I noticed that the MD5 checksum of the installer program didn't match the one here: http://www.eviews.com/download/downloadfull.shtml Upon re-downloading and verifying the MD5 checksum, the installation proceeded.
