Eurostat downloader not working?

Dear Eviews,
I am unable to fetch Eurostat series from Eurostat:
Until today my code worked perfectly well, and in R the eurostat downloader is working as it should.
Further, I am unable to browse series in the Eviews-Eurostat database connector. And its terribly slow.
Could it be that there are issues with the Eviews connector?
I use Eviews 12 on the July patch.
