Probably a silly request, but maybe it is easy. I would love it if I were not prompted to save a workfile as if I had made a change when the only thing I have done is open up multiple series as a temporary, Untitled group and then close that group. It seems like Eviews registers the creation and deletion of an ad hoc Untitled group as a change that may be worth saving, and this sometimes make me wonder if I have also done something else that needed saving.

It would also be nice if I got a save "receipt" in the Capture window, but it does not seem like I do.

If you open a workfile, open some series as an untitled group, then close that group, then close the workfile, EViews should not prompt you to save.
