model identity not solving exactly

Is there any reason why an identity in a model would not solve exactly? I have a model with numerous equations, some estimated but some identities (such as totals, ratios or other relationships), and I am seeing these identities be ever so slightly off when I solve the model.

That's odd. Would you be able to post a workfile containing a example of this behavior?

Make sure you have rounding off.
