I don't see the Add-in for recession shading in EViews 11. Apology if I am wrong and the Add-in for recession bars exists, which did exist on my prior version of EViews.

Add-ins have to be downloaded and installed.

In the past, I went to the Add-in tab and installed the recession bars. How is it different this time? How does one download and install?

Which one is the recession bar? I had not planned to download all of the add-ins. The closest match I saw was "rec-dum".

Is it the "Rec-Shade"?

OK I downloaded the "Rec-Shade". Now works.
Thanks for the help.

Sorry to be a bother, but the recession shading does not seem to add recession bars. Yesterday I had tried to update an older graph that had bars. I did not see any new bars for the latest recession, but thought it may be due to NBER reasons. New graph is shown on attached file and not bars are added when clicking on Add-in recession bars.

There is no trough defined by NBER over the dates you have in your graph.
