I have been using wfopen to import data from MS Access (accdb file).

After I upgraded my MS Office from 2016 to 2019, wfopen returns this error:

ODBC Driver 'Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb, *.accdb)' is not installed in "WFOPEN(PAGE=ALL) ...

When I go to Control Panel > Admin tools > ODBC Data Sources (64-bit or 32-bit), MS Access Database has been listed under User DSN.

Can you please help? My EViews version is 11 (enterprise edition).

ODBC drivers have to match the calling application's "bitness". Meaning if EViews 11 is 32-bit, you'll need the Microsoft Access 32-bit ODBC drivers installed. If EViews is 64-bit, you'll need the 64-bit drivers.

So most likely, when you installed Office 2019, you may have switched "bitness" resulting in possibly removing the older ODBC drivers from your system. You can try to look for matching ODBC drivers to install manually (search for Microsoft Access 32-bit or 64-bit ODBC driver) or you can switch your EViews installation to match your new Office install. You can use the same EViews license on the same system for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
