Dear All,

I am trying to run a regression for unbalanced panel data set. I have a lot of #N/A cells at my spreadsheet for missing data.
1- If I create a balanced panel workfile, will Eviews remove the individual with not having data in all the periods?
2-How Eviews handles unbalance panel data?
3-how should I create a workfile (if the balanced panel workfile is not correct) and estimate my unbalanced panel?
4- May the regression result vary if an unbalanced panel data set is turned into a balanced panel data set?
5- how can I test heteroskedasticity in a panel in Eviews? there is not such a test in the panel. but there is in time-series. can you please help?
it is very crucial, hope I can get help soon. looking forward to hearing from you.

I only understand the first question, to which the answer is "no".

many thanks for your response.
so is it correct if I estimate a panel model while I have a lot of #NA observation in my dataset? as I understood, Eviews will not remove the individual with not having all observation and it will use data whenever it is available? is it correct?
In this case, I can only estimate 1 panel model instead of t period crossectional regression (regressing the equation t times and each time for only two sequential years)? right?

Those are econometric questions to which only you can be the judge.
