When I run simulations on my computer with Windows 10, EViews 11 often uses more than 90% of CPU, according to Task Manager under the Processes tab. Is there any way to put a limit on the CPU allocation to EViews? Reducing Priority has no effect.

You can limit the number of cores that EViews will use under Options->General Options->Advanced System Configuration.

The simple task-manager CPU usage sums up across all cores. By limiting the number of cores EViews uses, you'll drop overall CPU usage (assuming your PC has more than one core), but usage per core will remain the same (or higher).
