In the Open -> Database menu I would like to have support for PX-Web API databases. PX-Web databases are quite common these days, used by eg Statistics Sweden, Statistics Finland, Statistics Norway, statistics Greenland, Basque Statistics, Armenian National institute of health, and many many others.

The databases available under Open->Database are made available via an open language - anyone can build such a connection if they wish.

Is there a documentation for this language? I can't find any information about adding a new type of database.
