Is there a way to provide a link to a PDF, a word-file or a web-page in the EViews workfile?

We have a lot of documentation for our model and it would be really convenient if we could link documentation files to the relevant EViews objects. For example, for our housing block, which is a separate model in the EViews workfile, we would like the user of the model to easily access the documentation, in this case: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/a ... 7713000338, i.e. the user should be able to click on a link in the model object and this article opens in a pdf-reader. This way, all relevant information about a model can be stored within the EViews workfile.

Is this something that can be done in EViews? If not, can you add this functionality?

You can add pretty much any text you want to an object or workfile label. Clicking won't work, but it can be copied and pasted into a browser. And, of course, you can make an object that just holds text.

Great, thanks startz. That is a good point! Hopefully the EViews team will add the possibility of making clickable word and pdf objects in the workfile too
