Deciding steps on the Y-axis

Hi,
I would like to modify the axis on my line graph. It goes from -1 to -3, with steps of 1 ( -1, 0, 1, 2, 3). I would like the axis in steps of 0.5, this is (-1, -0.5, 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3). Is this possible to do?
