Dear all,

I am trying to use the import function in eviews 10 but it is not working.

I write
cd D:\DSA
import(type=excelxml) D:\DSA\FQ.xlsm Range="input1!D3:CL2" @Freq A 2016

and eviews says that the file doesn't exist. I tried with different files and I get the same error message does not match expected format in "IMPORT
D:\DSA...

However, I tried a couple of different types in the option and it never worked. Any help appreciated.

Are you using the Mac version?

What happens if you drag the XLSM file onto EViews and use our wizard instead? At the end, you can look at the Captured Command window to see the corresponding IMPORT command.
