Paper research

Hello, i am working on a econometric project regarding analysis on specific data with the use of regression models and Eviews. Part of the project from what i have been told, has to be to find some other projects/papers written on the same topic with the use of similar data in order to compare my results to that.
Some infromation about my data: they are time series dating from 1959 to 2003 in the USA, the dependent variable is Expenditures on Houses and the independent variables that i have chosen are still under process (the ones i am going to be using for sure are income, interest, house prices).
Although i have done a considerable research using Google, i have found only one work that could meet my requirements and it is quite old. So i thought i would ask here, is there any way, some kind of source where i could get what i need?
