Hello everyone,

I am currently trying to estimate a model in which my dependent variable is a dummy variable. The database is an unbalanced panel data. Can Eviews estimate this model? I am asking since regarding my web research, I found that are some limitations regarding panel data in Eviews.

Can somebody help me, please?

Thank you very much.

Yes, but it won't use panel specific logit/probit estimators.

Thank you very much for your answer.

And whats the implications of that to my model? Does it give unreal results?

Thank you!

Once again, thank you very much.

Do you know what options I need to select in order to estimate the above model? Or in other words, how can I estimate the model? I am sorry for being such a noob.

Thank you! Have a nice week

Quick->Estimate Equation. Change the estimation method to BINARY

And it is not necessary to change nothing else more? Because the data is in Panel and unbalanced.

Thank you!
