I am trying to run a double bootstrap program, which is very computationally intensive. It involves about one million iterations. Is there any way to boost Eview's allocation of memory to speed up how fast the program runs? My first attempt took nearly three weeks before my computer crashed. A newer, more powerful computer is not a possibility and the one I have now is quite good anyway.

There isn't really a way to speed up the way your program runs by changing memory allocation. The best thing to do, if possible, would be to make your program as efficient as possible. You could post it here for others to look at to see if they have any hints as to how you could make it faster.

Failing that, it might be worth looking at a more specialised programming language - the EViews language isn't really built for performing such large computations.

Are you using the most uptodate version of EViews? Some computational areas have received big improvements with recent releases.
