Editing large groups

So I have a large group with over 260 series and an average character length per member of 19
If I try to "edit members" manually, I type them into the popup, press okay and then Eviews deletes characters as if it hit a character limit.
If there is a limit, there should be a warning message telling me that I exceeded it, imho.
OH: And I'm using Eviews 9.5 : July 11 2017 build
