Dear all,

The changing name option in the fetch function doesn't seem to be working in eviews 9.5

I'm writing
fetch(d=d:\INPUT\INP, s=_old) *

And getting the error message
INP::*_OLD was not found in "FETCH(D=D:\INPUT\INP, S=_OLD) *".

Any suggestions?

There are a few things to check:

1.Is your copy of EViews up to date. Select help->EViews Update to verify
2.Does the d:\INPUT\INP.edb database exist?
3.Does the database contain any objects named *_old?

If all the above appear ok, please send the inp.edb database file to support@eviews.com and refer to this thread.
