turn off sound

turn off sound

I'm using EViews 9.5. and would like to know how to turn off the (frankly quite annoying) sound of an error message.

I looked under options but couldn't find anything.

Appreciate any help!

Windows is producing the sound, so you'd have to turn it off in Windows.

The sound is the "default beep" sound in Windows.
