Ordered data model

Hi everyone,
I am a new member here, wonder if I did not make a topic unrelated to this threat. Anyway, I have been questioned about the Ordered Data Model by my lecturer from econometrics course. Does somebody here know what this model is all about? It would be really helpful if someone gives me a general description of this model, since I have to write a report base on this stuff.
