Hello,

what is the command to calculate the n-th root of something, e.g. a series?
I'm attending Eviews classes at university, but unfortunately we only made it to the square root yet.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

As with most mathematical software programs, you can raise a number (or a series) to any power you want using the ^ symbol. Thus:
series y = x^3

will raise X to the third power.

Seriously, my stupidity baffles me. I might not know much about Eviews, but this is just the most basic maths...
