Dated data table

Hi
When using the dated data table, it would be good if frequency conversion automatically were based on the default value for the series.
For example, if I use the
ser_name.setconvert
command to change the default frequency conversion of a series, the dated data table should use the specified frequency conversion as default when transforming the data in a dated data table.
It does not seem to be like that now, or have I misunderstood?
