Fetching a different frequency

Hi,

When I fetch monthly data in a quarterly workfile it sums the observations. I want it to average them. I've chosen average in the options but it still sums. Any idea how I can fix this?

EViews will use whatever conversion method is set for that series in the database. If you cannot change the property in the series you will have to fetch it into a quarterly page and then copy from the quarterly to mothly
