Highlight specific observations in a scatterplot

Postby jfgeli » Sun Feb 14, 2016 12:15 pm

Hi, I know the scat command allows to plot the legend of selected observations by using an auxiliary alpha series. I was wondering if there is a similar way of changing also the default color/size/etc of a particular observation dot in a scatter plot. If that is not possible, is there any other workaround?
Cheers,
Fede

The only real way is the trick to include another series in the scatter, where that series only has one value - the value you want to highlight.
