Limitation on the number of series being fetched from FRED?

That is correct for the new FRED interface (EViews 8.1 and newer) there is a 1000 series query limit.

We have left the old FRED interface (FRED v1), for larger datasets.

It would good if a limit is hit if something warned the user that not all series are being returned.
