Ive updated (as per recommendation) a new version o Eviews9 but this stoped my ability to import an Excel file! Please help

Could you provide more details?
Is it just one specific file, or all files? How are you opening the file in EViews? What type of Excel file is it? What happens when you try to open it? etc...

Any Excel file if I import or just drag it to eviews. Once I drag it (or import it) it reads normally but when you click finish Windows says program (eviews) isnt responding anymore and shuts it down.
