insufficient observation
Hi, I'm suffering with the issue that I got massage of insufficient no. of observations when I try to estimate a series that is log of square of another. I'm having balance panel data. how can I overcome this issue?

Re: insufficient observation
Get more observations.
Re: insufficient observation
I have a panel of 340 observations. t=34 and N=10. the problem appear when I use log of GDP per capital series. without this variable estimation show no problem but I can't exclude this variable, I'm using eview 8.no observation of this series is missing.

Re: insufficient observation
Post your workfile, including the equation you are estimating.
Re: insufficient observation

Re: insufficient observation
lngdppc=2*lngdppcs
Re: insufficient observation
thanks 4 ur help but problem is still there. when I use johanson cointegration by including this series (this time calculated through 2*lngdppc) I got a box indicating insufficient observations.
