Problem opening a database by double clicking on it

When I try to open a database by double clicking on it in windows explorer, a message pops up saying "EViews 9 has stopped working - A problem caused the program to stop working correctly..." The problem occurs regardless of whether EViews is already running.
This is with the April 20th build this time. Thanks!

If you try opening it from within EViews (File->Open Database), what happens?

That works, as does dbopen in the command line or a program. It's just opening edbs from windows explorer that causes problems.

All edbs, or a specific one?

All edbs, 100% of the time. I've tried it out on a bunch of machines running 9 and the same thing happens. It looks like dragging and dropping an edb into EViews if it's already running works though.

If you right click the file, select Open With, then select EViews 9?

Yup, that gives the same error.

32bit or 64bit EViews 9?
Also, were these databases created in EV9, or a previous version (if so, which one?).
We can't replicate... :/

This is 64-bit EViews 9. I've tried a bunch of databases that were created between now and 2011 and none of them work. We've kept up-to-date on versions, so that includes at least 7-9?

Also, this isn't causing any major problems for us - I just thought I'd mention it cause I noticed it.
