Adjusted R-squared

Dear all,
I run a Weighted Least Squares (WLS) model and the Adjusted R-squared is very high, 99%. So, I'm worried. It is an indication that the model has problems? Only as an experience, I run the OLS model with the same variables and the Adjusted R-squared is now 43%. Usually, Adjusted R-squared in WLS is higher than in OLS?
Many thanks
