Cannot import/edit data - all is set to NA

Hello,

I've been working with Eviews for a week now, and today all the data on my files was set to NA. I tried re-importing the data from the excel file, but it didn't work. Neither did manually inserting the data into the series, as it all reverted to NA once I pressed enter.

Is there any way to fix this without an update? Whenever I try to update its says "This feature is blocked by your administrator". The build is EViews 8 - Jul 26 2013.

If you provide the Excel file, with instructions on how you're bringing it in, we can try to figure out what is going wrong.

Hello,

I am having the same problem, but not because of updates.

When I try to import my data to make a dated panel all the values are NA. I thought this was because of having values equal to zero. But It still happens even if I restrict the columns of my data set.

Can you please take a look of what might be going wrong? I've been all day going back and forth trying to understand what I am doing wrong and my clock is ticking!

If I drag that file on to EViews, I don't appear to get any NAs.

What is your version of EViews and build date? I had no problem bringing in the data and structuring it as a panel.
