I have a list of undated observations, with an ID series that contains a unique three-letter label for each observation. When I view a graph of a series, the x-axis conveniently contains the labels of the observations (instead of the observation number). However, when I estimate an equation, and I view the "Actual,Fitted,Residual graph", the x-axis contains only the observation number. This seems to be inconsistent. Is there a way to make the x-axis contain the observation label, as in other graphs?

No, but you can always create the actual/fitted/residual graph yourself.
