Upgrade to version 8

Hallo,
I have a problem when installing EViews to upgrade to Version 8. Version 7 I installed without problems (also upgrade to version 7.2), but when you upgrade to version 8 using EViews 8 Patch - InstallShield Wizard says "The installer Could not finnd an existing copy of EViews ". On the old computer was always without problems. Where is the problem now, please?
Note: I have Windows 8.

EViews 8 is new version. 7.2 was a free upgrade from 7. EViews 8 requires a new purchase.

My memory is that the version 8 installer isn't a "patch." It's a completely new install. Perhaps you're using the wrong installer file?

Thanks for the advice. Now it's fine. I used the wrong setup file :-)
