@last and @mean calculations automated

Is there a way to use @last to count backwards.

that is, if my last data point is April 2014 (or 2014Q1) and I want to create an average over the last 10 years, can Eviews do something like:

smpl(@last-10 years, @last)

this way, the average calculation is rolling and automated based on the last non missing data available.
