Hello All.
I have been desperately looking for a way to control how my graphs' y-axis look (I use Eviews v. 7.1 as a statistical analysis package as well as charting package)
I'm trying to control the lables (#) that appear, as well as where the tick marks appear - the only thing i can do now is just control the range. I would like, for examle, to be able to drop the first and last data lable or control the interval of my data lables etc.
if this sort of control is not available in eviews - can it be programmed into it? or would a subroutine written to control the axis work as well?
thank you.
Wes
p.s. I appologize for the fact that this question may have appeared in my earlier posts - however, after much work with not much to show for it, i thought it would be best to dedicate specific post just for this problem - in the hope someone else has resolved a similar issue.

Re: Y-Axis Manipulation
You can do some of what you want by graph options/axes & scaling/data scaling and Data axis labels.
Probably not everything though.

appreciate the input Startz ~ i'll look into your suggestion
i figure it's going to take quite a bit of tweaking - but thanks in all
