Eviews 13 much slower than Eviews 11

I've recently switched from Eviews 11 to Eviews 13

The execution of the following line of code is much, much slower on Eviews 13 than on Eviews 11:

wfsave(type=excelxml,mode=o) OUTPUT_Q.xlsx @keep output @smpl 2023 2025

I'm talking a minute vs a second... The size of the file (2KB) is not likely the problem.

Is there any way to speed up the export of data to xlsx fil in Eviews 13?

Try the LEGACY option on the WFSAVE call to see if that restores the speed.
