I am unable to open Eviews 12 University on my MacBook Pro running macOS Monterey Version 12.0.1
I have attached a screenshot showing what happens when I try to open EViews - the EViews window opens to the side of the desktop and I am unable to click anything in the EViews window
I have tried removing and redownloading/installing EViews University to no avail

Press command+space to bring up the spotlight search. Then type terminal. Select the Terminal app. In the Terminal window, you will see a prompt of the form username@computername (for example: jsmith@johns-Macbook). Make note of the username. In this example, username is jsmith.
In the Terminal type
(but replace username with the one from the previous step)
Using the example, the command would be
Next press Enter. If you do not see an error message, the command was entered correcty.
Next type
Try starting EViews
In the Terminal type
Code: Select all
cd .wine/drive_c/users/username/Application\ Data/IHS\ EViews/EViews
(but replace username with the one from the previous step)
Using the example, the command would be
Code: Select all
cd .wine/drive_c/users/jsmith/Application\ Data/IHS\ EViews/EViews
Next press Enter. If you do not see an error message, the command was entered correcty.
Next type
Code: Select all
rm EViews32.ini
Try starting EViews
