ASCII Text Import

when i try to make balance panel and imported the data
the ascii text import appear and i can't use the workfile to enter my panel data
how to solve it?
please help me

You're going to have to provide considerably more detail.
i try to test random or fixed effect model, so i make a balanced panel, but when i imported the data, the ASCII text import dialog box appeared, and i can configure where data should start

  • Which version of EViews?
  • What does the source file look like?
  • How are you importing the file?
  • What does the destination workfile look like?
  • Etc...

READ cannot open .xlsx.

Use Import or open instead.
